28,000 Marks donated to After-Care Clinic
Schwäbische Zeitung, 2001-05-14
There was every reason to celebrate at the Open Day of the Paul Maschinenfabrik in Dürmentingen. Werner Paul presented the Chief Executive of the after-care clinic in Tannheim, Roland Wehrle, with a cheque for 28,000 Marks. On the occasion of the Paul Company’s Jubilee party last October, the Company offered a donation instead of a present for the host. The Paul Company then doubled the amount. The Tannheim after-care clinic is a public rehabilitation clinic for families with children, young people and adults suffering from cancer, heart diseases and cystic fibrosis. They provide after-care for the whole family, not just the patients.
Werner Paul, the Managing Director of the Paul Maschinenfabrik in Dürmentigen, combined a guided tour through the company’s new workshops with the presentation of a cheque to Roland Wehrle. Paul gave the Chief Executive of the after-care clinic for families with cancer, heart diseases and cystic fibrosis 28,000 Marks for equipment. This was made up of 14,000 Marks that the Paul Company had received as Jubilee donations on the occasion of its 75 years of existence. The Company had doubled this amount. For handing over the check, and the guided tour of the business, Werner Paul used the “Open Day” on Saturday, which had attracted thousands of interested visitors to the factory.
