A visit that will be worthwhile.
Top-quality machinery and systems – innovations alongside tried and tested technology - will be on show for the primary and secondary woodworking industries. An excellent opportunity to see the product range of the South German machine manufacturer operating live and talk to PAUL personnel face to face.
Backed by 65 years of experience in the construction of woodworking machinery, PAUL will be presenting state-of-the-art technologies for solid wood and panel processing on an area of about 400 square metres. In the CNC cross-cut sector three innovations will be on display: The C14 II, the Push_Cut_CX II with automatic push-feed system and the MAXI 6 COMPACT CNC control. The two cross-cut systems have been visually adjusted to the latest RAPID and C11 series, but also offer a number of new technical benefits:
The C14 II is a high-performance cross-cutting machine for medium to large timber sections for use in the industrial timber processing sector. It is suitable for cutting heavy and difficult workpieces where high demands are placed on production speed and accuracy. Outstanding productivity is achieved by the high feed speed, the rapid sawing action and the quick acceleration characteristic of the C14 II series. As with the previous model PAUL offers three versions of the new series: C14_E II, C14_KE II and C14_MKL II. Like their predecessors, these machines work extremely efficiently with a high degree of reliability. The new C14 II offers improvements in the following areas:
- More efficient workpiece guidance
- Optimized dust extraction and waste disposal
- Modern components and materials
- Increased user friendliness
- Greater ease of servicing
The Push_Cut_CX II, a machine with automatic push-feed system, has been developed with flexibility, efficiency and high accuracy in mind. Minimal changeover and set-up times for different kinds of workpieces and materials increase the efficiency of production. The workpiece length is measured during the return stroke of the push-feed system. The positioning of the workpiece is done very accurately. In addition, the push-feed system is maintenance-free. Important improvements on this model are:
- Increased cut length accuracy
- Maintenance-free linear unit
- Optimal adjustment of the rotational speed of the saw blade to the workpiece
- Greater user convenience
- Modular construction and highest flexibility offering more scope for customized solutions
For the operation of the latest generations of cross-cut systems the new MAXI 6 COMPACT CNC control has been developed. It can be fitted either directly to the cross-cut station or to a separate pedestal and is provided with a touch screen and USB port and for maximum user friendliness.
Another cross-cut system on the PAUL stand will be the RAPID high-speed CNC cross-cut, wood scanning and buffer system. This systems stands for “pure dynamism” and maximum equipment uptime.
In the sawmilling technology sector PAUL will be exhibiting the heavy-duty SGL-1522 circular resaw and the well-proven KME3 edger/multirip saw. The SGL-1522 impresses with its large size and high performance. It is designed for processing cants of up to 225 mm thick at an opening width of 1200 mm. The KME3 meets almost all customer requirements and can be loaded manually, semi or fully automatically. Combined with further handling components it turns into an automatic edging and multi-ripping system for maximum yield optimization.
Also on display will be a K34G-OUR multirip saw that is specifically designed for ripping and simultaneously profiling curved panels into bed slats.
