LIGNA 2009: PAUL - Your world market leader for woodworking machinery and systems
“Focus on a strong brand” – True to this motto PAUL will be exhibiting circular sawing machinery and systems for the primary and secondary woodworking and plastics industries at LIGNA 2009 (hall 12/stand E06) in Hannover from May 18-22.
On an area of over 370 sq.m. (4000 sq. ft.), PAUL will be presenting state-of-the-art woodworking technologies to the trade visitors. On display will be 3 new machine models as well as various further developments of our existing models. Two systems are completely new developments and represent a world premiere in the CNC high-speed cross-cut and rip system sectors.
As an absolute Ligna highlight PAUL will be presenting their newly developed, high-performance, RAPID series CNC cross-cut system. It is expected to be the focus of attention of the CNC cross-cut market. The new RAPID series represents the well-known, excellent and heavy-duty PAUL quality. It is presented in a distinctive new squared design setting new standards with its clean and elegant features. Six powered top and bottom feed rollers ensure a more accurate material feed even with extremely difficult timber. Two coordinated saw blades are utilized to cope with the high feed speed of this saw. The modular concept allows customized solutions based on our many years of experience.
The proven series 11 CNC cross-cut systems have been upgraded and are now also supplied in the new squared design under the name C11.
Also in the ripping/edging sector PAUL will be presenting a new development. The high-efficiency POWER_RIP edging and ripping system has been designed for high throughput rates and maximum value. The new features of this saw are achieved by utilizing high-grade components that are perfectly coordinated via a CNC control. The advantages of the new POWER_RIP are maximum machine uptime, state-of-the art measuring technology, and increased material output which has been achieved by separating the edging and ripping operations.
New machine models also require new control systems. For this reason PAUL has developed a new MAXI 6 CNC control, which operates like its predecessor under the LINUX real-time operating system with a convenient touch screen interface. The new control generation features a bus system developed in-house by PAUL and allows modern data communication via internal office networks or the Internet.
PAUL also develops, designs and supplies complex automatic rip and cross-cut systems, offering custom-tailored solutions to the sawmilling or secondary timber processing industries. The PAUL experts will be pleased to offer their services to the attendees at Ligna 2009.
