Machine delivery for Holztechnikum Kuchl
Paul Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG and their Austrian sales representative Johann Schirmböck are providing Holztechnikum Kuchl with an edging line for their new sawing hall. The edging line consists of a circular edger model KME2/750 and a cross-cut saw model 15AO integrated in the infeed roller table.
The model KME2/750 has been integrated into the edging line as a circular edger. The machine supplied is fitted with a fixed saw bush with a useful clamping length of 55 mm and a movable saw bush with a useful clamping length of 110 mm. On the one hand, this saw bush combination in conjunction with the NCB control allows variable edging into one strip in millimetre or optionally centimetre increments as well as moving to pre-programmed fixed sizes at the push of a button, i.e. by joystick and on the other hand resawing of cants up to a maximum thickness of 125 mm. The laser gantry mounted at the infeed projects the position of the zero line as well as the position of the movable saw bush onto the workpiece. The selected combination of saw bush equipment, laser gantry and NCB control ensures a maximum timber yield combined with the best ease of operation. The feed speed at the circular edger is continuously adjustable from 2 – 75 m/min.
