Our experience in the field of CNC cross-cut systems stems back to 1976 – longer than any other company! At that time, PAUL was the first German company to construct a CNC-controlled cross-cut saw capable of optimization. This machine type was continuously further developed and improved over decades. Using a variety of optimization algorithms and based on a superb standard of mechanical engineering excellence, we are able to offer customers minimal cutting waste, i.e. maximum yield from the starting materials used. By maximizing profits in this way, the payback period for investment in a PAUL optimizing cross-cut saw is slashed to a minimum.

We have been producing undercut cross-cut saws since the 60's. These quality products are suitable for use in joinery and carpentry companies, sawmills, furniture factories, etc. Whether they are used in the production of cases, battens or pallets, for pre-cross-cutting in solid wood processing lines or cutting extremely heavy planks or round wood, the cross-cut saws leave nothing to be desired. Designed for cutting small to medium-sized timber sections, the C11 series achieves an accurate and clean cut at very high throughput rates. The extremely compact machines are ideally suited for use in both sawmills and the secondary timber processing industries, such as the parquetry, flooring, packaging and furniture industries and many more. The series C14 II machines are ideal for large cross sections and for warped and cupped timber. They are extremely sturdy and feature a feed drive that achieves an outstanding acceleration value even with heavy timbers. [more]
These models are suitable for cross-cutting waney-edged and heavy timbers. Defects are marked either with crayon lines or by laser. As in all CNC cross-cut systems, cross-cutting results are optimized by means of the MAXI control. [more]
